So i set up Xmonad on my system today. XMonad with GNOME is great. The key combination is easy to use and configure. Installation was easy. Thanks to the great tutorial by Mark Hansen @ http://markhansen.co.nz/xmonad-ubuntu-lucid/.

Now at present i have three windows open together. One running drivel, the other chrome along with a terminal. By running Xmonad with gnome i am able to use all the utilites provided by gnome. That i guess was the only thing i had in my mind while installing it. Since i needed the network manager to run my photon. Now since everything is running would love to explore this.

Now i am planning to install arch along with slackware on my system. Have used slackware for a long time earlier so i guess there won't be much problem on that front. Main thing will be to install arch on my system. This i will do when i go home, cause i need a good broadband connection to install arch. I am planning to use arch for general use and will use slackware to test new softwares.

Another application i installed today was Todo list. Got to see how useful it is.
